About

With 10 years of experience as a Primary School teacher and a passion for yoga since 2012, I have always been deeply invested in nurturing children's growth and well-being. This year, I decided to merge my love for early years learning with my mindfulness and yoga practices, and that's how Mindful Kids was born.

Through my years of teaching and observing children, it became clear to me that mindfulness is more important than ever. In today's fast-paced and often overwhelming world, mindfulness offers children the tools they need to stay grounded, develop healthy emotional responses, and foster resilience—both in the face of external challenges and their internal experiences.

My classes focus on helping children reconnect with their five senses, guiding them to become more aware of themselves and the world around them, moment by moment. Mindfulness techniques, combined with fun, interactive activities, offer a unique opportunity for children to explore their senses and engage with the present moment in an enjoyable, playful way.

I'm especially excited to create a calming environment where sensory play takes centre stage—using light, sound, tactile experiences, and creative games and stories that captivate and engage children while promoting relaxation, focus, and self-awareness.

Through Mindful Kids, I aim to foster a sense of calm, curiosity, and connection in each child, empowering them to navigate the world with mindfulness and joy.
